Energy Efficient Portable Air Conditioners

Does anybody have any ideas about an energy efficient portable air conditioning unit.  I'm a renter in a small block and we don't have a way to rig a split system here.  My windows are casement (crank) so window units are not going to work.

 

Any ideas?
