I bought a few of these for the showers in our house. My 2 daughters take the Longest showers and since I've placed these in the drain, they have been getting out much quicker. Our water bill last month was down 25%. I'm sold. Anybody who's thinking of getting one, I 100% encourage it.
I'm a big fan of solar, and was an early adopter, I like clean lines and low profiles, so I chose the top of the line for the time it was available. It served us well on our old home, but we've upgraded and our CC&Rs won't allow us to use this same mounting system.

Within a week of installing the first-generation Nest in my house last spring, I decided to buy my review unit rather than return it to the company. When a tech journalist pays $250 for a thermostat, you know it's a special kind of thermostat. Fast-forward seven months, and I'm still a devotee, so I was excited to get my hands on the second generation of the Nest Learning Thermostat.
To cut to the chase: the Nest works. In the first few days, the thermostat I tested figured out that despite our many comings and goings, my family typically likes the house to be 68 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, and an energy-saving 64 degrees when we usually go to bed around 11 p.m. Over time during my first run, the Nest cleverly differentiated between our weekday and weekend patterns and automatically heated up later on weekend mornings and ran throughout the day when we are more often home. As with the first-generation device, the second-gen Nest Learning Thermostat is strikingly easy to install without professional help, and it looks lovely on the wall.
If you know me you know that I Love my Gadgets, and I'm always reviewing the latest and coolest gadgets on the market and these are my latest thrill! You don't have to be techy to install these strips anywhere and I mean, anywhere in your home. They adhere to any surface and are super easy to control. I highly recommend them!

I just totally leveled up my coolness factor. I have a studio in SoHo and it's just been a stark white canvas since I bought it. I installed these lightstrips in the kitchen area and around the media cabinet and it is sweet! SO easy to install and program and because I have the Hue starter kit, I can use my phone to control them. It's my coolest new toy. Loving it! Get them, you won't be disappointed.
I have waited about a month to write this review to ensure the smooth operation of the system and to give a more complete review. Installation was a breeze. Once you download the App and follow the simple instructions you are finished! Nothing complicated. The choices of lighting options is impressive. Mood lighting and accent lighting is a breeze. I have installed this on both my Ipad and my phone and it works fine on both. I was even able to hook it up with my Echo to use voice control of the lights. New apps are added all the time. Great fun and great buy! Get it now.
It does what it says...I purchased this as a stocking stuffer for my 10 year old daughter who takes long showers. So far she doesn't really understand what it is doing. I wish there was a way to change the battery so that it would last longer. The instructions say that it will last about 3 or 4 months. I understand why you wouldn't want to be taking it apart to change the batteries, but still would like the option. Also...the lights are somewhat hard to watch. If you are spending your time watching the lights, you are going to take a longer shower!
