Outside sprinkler systems

I thought I was in the stone age with no HA elements in my home, but I just realized that I've been using a sprinkler system with basic timer/day/duration functionality for years. I know it's crude, and I'd like to step into the 21st century with a new controller. There has to be something out there that allows me to control the system with an iphone app. Suggestions???

Check out Amazon. I think that rainbird might have something like that.
