Lightbulb burned hole in lamp shade!!

Warning! My energy saving lightbulb from Ecohaus had been giving off a burning smell, but we ignored it because the sahde didn't feel warm... BUT it exploded! And burned a hole through our lamp shade

The best way to fix this issue is to make sure that you use the bulbs designed for your country.
